Directions To The Hamilton Model Flying Club’s Airfield

 

From the M74, exit at Junction 8 (Southbound). Turn left off the slip road and continue to roundabout, Northbound the slip road will bring you directly onto the roundabout.

Turn left at roundabout towards Blackwood, You will pass two parking laybys - immediately after the second layby turn left;

You will cross a bridge over the motorway, immediately after the bridge turn right;

​

As you follow the road (Bloomfield Road) you will see a green hut on top of the hill on your right, this is the flying site.

 

To reach it proceed along Bloomfield Road until you reach a sharp right hand bend, as you go around this bend you will see a gate ahead next to a house called Bloomfield Farm Cottage, if you have a sat nav on your car the post code ML9 3DH and will take you to this location, go through this gate onto a dirt track road, proceed up this road and you will reach the flying site.
